Real Estate Arena: First German real estate fair

The North German real estate sector met in the Real Estate Arena. The notaries Dr. Wolter and Mr. Prechtel were also on site.

At the first real estate fair Real Estate Arena On May 18 and 19, the most important representatives of the North German real estate sector met: property developers, architects, founders of start-ups and representatives of business development agencies and municipalities. And because real estate projects of all types also require legal expertise and notary appointments, our notaries Dr. Wolter and Mr. Prechtel were also on site.

Sustainability and digitization: The real estate sector's major issues of the future

In cooperation with the real estate consulting firm Aptum Group, we had two days of exciting discussions about the future of the real estate industry. According to the latest IPCC World Climate Report, the construction of energy-efficient buildings represents one of the top 10 potential savings for emissions. In addition to “digital real estate” and regional topics, sustainability was therefore a focus of the industry trade fair.

In the Hanover region in particular, the question of resource-saving real estate projects plays an important role. “More and more people are moving to the Hanover region,” explained Regional President Steffen Krach. “That's a good sign, but we also need more apartments.” Klara Geywitz, Federal Minister of Housing, Urban Development and Construction, on the other hand, called for new buildings to be slowed down and instead to renovate old buildings in an energy-efficient way.

Building in Hanover: The Real Estate Arena as an important industry meeting place

Whether new construction or renovation: In the first Real Estate Arena, both pioneers and experts from all professional sectors found ideas and contacts for their future projects. “A very successful first serve of the new trade fair format,” says Mr. Prechtel, commenting on the visit to the trade fair. “There were many representatives of the Hanoverian construction industry on site. This created a very familiar and personal atmosphere. This shows how important all exhibitors have taken the trade fair. ”
